Am I able to use the EMPI Quick Release Steering Coupler, 7/8” Splined with a Volante S6 Steering Wheel, Chrome Three Spoke with Wood Finish? I plan on replacing my stock 1970 VW bug steering wheel.

Hi Juan,

Thank you for your question. In looking into this it seems that the mounting surface of this quick release hub, part #17-2570-0, is drilled for a Grant three-bolt steering wheel. The hub does have six holes but the holes are two different sizes making for two different three hole patterns. Hope this was helpful.
