I am in the process of buying a front disc brake conversion from your company. The question I have is does it take a different brake hose than my stock hoses? Also, will my old front dust caps work on the new rotors?

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your interest in our AC Industries disc brake conversion kits. For your 1974 Beetle, as with all 1967 to 1977 regular Beetles, the original brake hose, #113611701D is 15” (380mm) long. Whith disc brakes the hose is #311611701B which is 13.5” (345mm) long. Either hose will work fine. The stock grease caps will work on the new rotors.
