I just purchased a kit of 64-67 BUS front disk brakes. Haven’t opened the box. I have an early 64 bus with 15″ wheels. Will I have an interference problem? I was looking on The Samba and there was some mention of this. I don’t want to be grinding anything for clearance. Let me know. Thanks.

Hi Chris,

Our new Bus disc brake conversion kit from AC Industries will not work with the 1961-1963 steel 15″ factory bus wheels commonly refereed to as “crows feet” wheels. I have found that this kit will work with 15″ factory wheels from a Bug/Ghia.
