Front Drums to Discs Conversion for 2.5″ Drop Spindles?

Does the No Hassle Drum to Disc Brake Conversion Kit part #498540 kit allow to be installed with 2.5 drop spindles for drums? I see you have another more affordable kit but it says not for drop spindles.

Hi Jesse,

Yours is a commonly asked question. Presently, there are no kits on the market that I am aware to convert a set of lowered link pin or ball joint drum brake spindles to disc brakes. With the price of new lowered disc spindles and kits with new lowered disc spindles being so affordable, I don’t see that there will be any new kits developed specifically for drop drum spindle to disc conversions.

The kit number you are needing is #498740. I’d recommend buying the kit and selling your lowered drum spindles in the used market place.
